Welcome to my story

My name is Mark Belotz and I am running for a seat on the Danville Town Council.

I have been married to my wife Silvia for 38 years and have lived in Danville for 36 years. We have 2 sons, Alexander 36 and Andrew 32 who went all the through schools in the SRVUSD. I am a semi-retired small business owner and love to volunteer around town and help out a number of wonderful charities.

I have spent the last 6 years attending Council meetings and volunteering to serve on:

·       Danville Design Review Board

·       Danville’s Heritage Resource Commission

·       Danville ‘s Historic Design Review Committee

·       Graduate of Leadership San Ramon Valley

·       Danville Citizens Police Academy

·       Danville’s Government 101 Citizens Academy

·       Save Mount Diablo Development Committee

·       Stanford Healthcare Tri Valley CARB Board

·       Member Danville Chamber of Commerce

·       Museum of the San Ramon Valley Gala Committee

My top priorities will be:

·       Fiscal responsibility - always have a balanced budget with plenty of reserves

·       Support all of our businesses - if they succeed, we all succeed

·       Protect our parks, trails and especially our beautiful open spaces

·       Keeping Danville one of the safest cities in California

·       Keep our small-town charm and outstanding quality of life

·       Try to control the new development in town.

I LOVE Danville and want to see it continue going in the right direction. I am honored to be running for Danville Town Council and would appreciate your vote on November 5th!!
